Common Conditions

Water consumption

September 10, 2020, 8:17 PM
Q: My 11 week old puppy has started drinking excessively and peeing a lot. We have started having to take her out every 30 minutes in order to avoid accidents. I am not sure if I should be limiting her water or there may be other issues.
A: There can be several explanations for increased consumption and output including normal variation. Can you give me an idea about current water consumption quantity and her weight. Does she feel okay otherwise?
