Grapes and raisins

May 13, 2021, 11:33 PM
Q: Our puppy may have eaten a few raisins? My son had some raisin brand on the floor. What should we do?
A: The potential for toxicity varies with the variety of grapes and other factors.  Usually with standard raisins it would take 1-2 per 10 lbs to [resemt a risk.  If the ingestion was more than a few hours ago there really is not much you can do.  Let me know if you want to discuss.
