Mopey puppy
December 19, 2014, 12:44 PM- Q: Why would our puppy be mopey? Usually he is very active. He wants to cuddle and sleep. Haven't seen him eat or drink today.
- A: Your desription suggests that he doesn't feel well but it does not give me any clues to understand why. A good first step would be for you to try and take his temperature. Think back over the last couple of days as to whether you noticed any coughing, sneezing, vomiting or diarrhea. You may also want to try something enticing to eat that he normally gets excited about, like a small amount of table meat, lunch meat or cheese to further check his appitite.Please keep me informed.
