Licking

Q: My 6 month old Shih Tzu licks mine and my husbands arms, legs, pillows, car seats, and couch. When she is doing this, she is so focused on it. Make her stop and she starts it again until she's tired of it. She just started doing that about a month or so ago. Other than this she seems fine. She's eating, going to the potty, playing, and sleeping like always. What is going on? Why is she doing this? Thanks

A: There may not be anything "wrong" as this can be an annoying habit. A couple things you can check: Is she still getting adult teeth? The adult teeth are larger and less pointed than temporary teeth. Is there a common denominator as to when she does it? Not so muck where but when?
