New Schedule

November 6, 2019, 11:06 AM
Q: Hello, we have a 9 week old Shicohn and we've had her for 3 days now. She sleeps in her crate at night and has been waking up whining between 4:00 AM - 5:00 AM so far. should we remove her from her crate when this happens or let her be until our normal wake up time. We are offering food and a restroom break every 4:00 hours like instructed. How long will we need to do this before returning to a normal human schedule? Thanks for your help.
A: The 4 hour eating break should continue about a week until she is eating regularly and used to the new environment. If you do not want to get up again at 4am then you should just ignore her whining.
