Q: We have a 3 month old Goldendoodle and a 8.5 year old dog. The older dog seems suddenly interested in eating the puppy’s kibble, while the puppy seems interested in both adult dog food and her kibble. This has been going on for a few days- Is this a temporary phase? Should we make an effort to separate their feeding areas?
A: Occasionally eating the others food is no big deal, for the older dog puppy food could lead to weight gain.
