Q: I have an 8 week cavapoo puppy coming home on Sunday. How often should she eat? I've heard conflicting information and I want to make sure I don't screw up. Originally I read every 2-3 hours. Does that also mean eating during the night? Also, how early do you recommend breakfast and how late do you recommend dinner?
A: I would suggest sticking closer to the 2 hour period for the first several days until she is comfortable in your environment.  Offer food and water first thing in the morning once she has a chance to eliminate.  Last meal should be about 45 minutes prior to bedtime and if she eats well once in the overnight.
