Ok to Give Medicine

July 11, 2014, 3:43 PM
Q: When i purchased my Yorkshire Terrier from the breeder on June 11th and was given several oral medications that i had to administrator. One is particular called "Marqous" was suppose to be administer 0.2ml 10 days after arrival. I regretfully forgot to give it to him. It has been 4 weeks (one month) exactly today. Is it too late to administer? Please advise.
A: While there is no problem giving the Marquis after the delay there is a good chance the dose will be low since he has gained weight over the last month. If he has had fecal tests at your vet and they were negative there is no need to give it.
