Q: Are Greenies or a similar product a good method to clean my pups teeth or should we brush his teeth instead?
A: There is no question that bruxhing your puppy’s teeth is the best method to preserve oral health. If it is to be successful I feel at has to be at least twice a week and thorough. Training your puppy to accept teeth bruxhing is the hardest part. I find a lot of owners that are only able to enforce haphazard brushing and not very often. Other “chew products” like Greenies are beneficial and have better compliance. If you can train yourself and your dog to accept bruxhing there is no equal.
