VACCINATION REACTION
February 2, 2013, 11:21 PM- Q: My puppy got her vaccination today and she has been very slow and sleepy all day. Normally she is quite active during the day, but today, she has sleep most of the day. Also, she seems very uninterested in food. Is this normal or should I be concerned?
- A: I just received your question. I apologize for the delay I am not sure what happened. Lethargy and a poor appetite following vaccination is pretty common. It will usually pass within one day. Giving baby aspirin can be helpful but i would need to know how much your puppy weighed. If possible can you give me an update on how your puppy feels today and what she weighed at your visit?
