Flea Control

Q: Summer is here and our yorkie and shorkie want to be outside more the only problem is I noticed today that there are fleas in the yard. Both of our dogs are clean and flea free so far but is there anything I can use in the yard that wont hurt my girls in the yard to get rid of them before they get on them and start traveling in our house

A: You for sure want both of them on some type of sustained control flea and tick product, there are many to pick from but a few examples are Frontline Plus, Bravecto, Credilio, Advantix Plus. The best plan for the yard is insecticide granules which release gradually each time the are moistened such as Spectricide Granules applied each 2-3 weeks. If you noticed fleas that area is loaded!!!
