Q: When should I take my dog to the vet when he has arrived?
A: Check your puppy's health records to see when the next vaccine is due, in many cases that would be 1-2 weeks after arrival. If your puppy feels good, is eating and drinking with out problems then you should contact your veterinarian within 2 days to schedule a visit 3-5 days after arrival. Be sure to watch the "Homecoming" videos and the two "First Vet Visit" videos.
