- A: Although so far dogs do not express illness when exposed to Covid 19 it is possible for them to serve as a mechanical vector, meaning they can carry the virus from one place or person to another. Social distancing as well as surface disinfection (sprays, bathing) are effective tools to reduce the likelihood of transmission of the disease.
