Training Tips

Sleep pattern

Q: I have a 10 week old multi-poo, just brought home 4 days ago. She does not like her crate at all, becomes very stressed at night, which I assume will improve with time. She sleeps very well outside of the crate for naps during the day- is this an okay habit so she gets needed rest, or should her naps take place in the crate as well? (She's being potty trained to go outside.)
A: The first thing to decide is where you want her to sleep in the long run. If it needs to be in the crate then you should have her in there for any sleep period. If you do not need the crate to assist with potty training you can let her choose her spot.
