Nap time

September 29, 2020, 11:35 AM
Q: I know you’re supposed to put the puppy in her own space (like a bathroom with the crate) so she can nap without distractions pretty often during the day, but my question is how long I need to do that for. Will we reach a point when the puppy can nap on her own without me having to put her in her own separate area without distraction?
A: Enforcing nap time in a separate space is good for your puppy during the first month or so, once he is adjusted well he will regulate his own activity and rest.
