Getting the Palace to Work

March 28, 2017, 4:03 PM
Q: I have a 9 week old Chorkie and he is doing pretty good. We bought the Pup Pee Poo Palace and love it. My question is how do you get them to understand carpet and rugs are not the same thing as a pad? We have mostly hardwood in our home, but he seems to go to the few rugs we have and the one carpeted room we have. Is this something he will learn? I realize it is early, just thinking ahead!
A: The most common situation to lead to this problem II's not having your puppy spend enough time in the place during f the first 2 weeks. Make sure to follow the instructions for the 3 phases of palace training.
