Why does my puppy pee on the pad but not poop?
September 1, 2014, 9:56 PM- Q: My 11 months Puppy pee in the pad but he doesn't poop , he wants to poop on my carpet I am trying to train him to pee and poop in a pad when his in the house. I also walk him most of the time he poop outside but I don't have time to walk him all the time , what can I do a least to stop him poop in my carpet ?
- A: The stimulus to urinate happens much quicker than the stimulus to poop. You have to leave him in the pad area much longer or learn to time his return to the pad. It helps to keep notes as to when his urge to poop occurs and be sure he is in that area.
