How Much Time in Palace?

November 3, 2014, 11:56 AM
Q: How ongoing is it okay to let puppy cry throughout night? She is 13 weeks today and I have had her four days. She has slept in palace every night but yesterday and I made mistake of cuddling her in bed in am before going outside. If she cries on and off for 3 hours and then on and off through the night but slept in between is that ok? Is it acceptable to leave her in there 8 hours at night? Thanks for help, Mary
A: Normally, we would consider 8 hours the upper limit of uninterrupted time in the palace. Longer times can be okay occasionally. Once you place her in be sure not to go back unless she remains quiet.
