Night time potty
September 28, 2015, 1:37 PM- Q: Should the dog be taken outside in the middle of the night for the bathroom or do we just need to make sure she is okay and has food? We were told to provide food in the middle of the night. She is an 8 weeks old Havanese. How often should her pad be changed?
- A: One of the advantages of using the palace is your puppy has an elimination area even when she can't go outside. But, if outdoor potty training is your goal then if you offer food in the middle of the night then taking her outside afterwards is good. Changing the pad 1-2 times daily is usually sufficient for most puppies.
