Crate Training Set Up

July 30, 2013, 4:15 PM
Q: I just purchased a puppy along with the pup pee poo palace. I was shown how to set it up. The set up included a water bottle and food dish that attaches to the side of the cage. I just watched your video about potty training and it said that no food or water should be inside the cage. Do I need to remove the attached water bottle and food dish?
A: For a new young puppy food and water should be available in the cage. As she gets older if there are problems with the timing and training success then food should be left out.
