The max height of this breed is typically 15 inches with a maximum weight of 8 pounds. They are extra fluffy and silk like, which is inherited from the Bichon. It will require regular grooming because of how fast their fur can grow. The coat can grow from 3 to 5 inches rather quickly. We recommend that you groom your Cavachon about once or twice a month depending on the season. Brush them frequently as a puppy to avoid tangles in the fur and to get them use to the brush to make grooming much easier in adulthood.
